Dolly Pumpkin
This is a creation I came up with that won first prize at our office's annual pumpkin decorating / carving contest. She was simple to make - one large pumpkin for the head, two smaller pumpkins for her. . .ahh, body. The "head" was placed upon a wide, bowl-like glass vase. The two smaller pumkins were placed inside of an old, black velvet bustier left over from the late eighties and pinned tightly behind the glass bowl. I drew her face on with magic marker, stuck the adhesive eyelashes on, and capped her with a long, blonde, spare wig purchased for another prop. You can't see it too well in the picture, but there is a small ball-type microphone laying on the table in front of her. It was really a good display; very eye-catching. The men, of course, loved her.
