| Gramps was a last minute addition to the Manor and has rapidly earned rank as a memorable favorite with the youngsters. He sits on his mighty oak chair next to the grand piano in the parlor just waiting for someone to entertain him. I built him because I liked the mask. I considered upgrading Gramps to an animated prop using an ocilating fan motor to turn his head from left to right but decided to keep him motionless (and quiet). He is constructed out of a PVC body frame with a mask over a styrofoam wig head. Dressed in a freshly pressed suit and tie, he has the appearance of a corpse that has just crawled out of his coffin. Gramps gives people the creeps - that's his job. |
