The tombstone was constructed out of a cardboard box and foam insulation board always available at the local home improvement stores. We simply cut the foam to fit the outside dimentions of the box and taped it together with clear packaging tape. I'm sure you can probably build a box out of wood if you like. I go for light, easy to lift props so foam works for me.
Pick the demensions you want and build the stone. The top should be wide enough to hold the skeleton in a laying position with the long dress draped to the ground. I purchased letters at the craft store and glued them onto the front of the stone. One simple word says it all.
The foam was given a light coat of fleckstone paint to give it a stone-like texture.
